Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Thermal Burnsville Insulation Company, burnsvilleinsulation.com, hi@burnsvilleinsulation.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Thermal Burnsville Insulation Company website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

We're an insulation contractor in Burnsville, MN, and we wrote these terms in plain language so you know what to expect before our crew comes out. If anything here is unclear, ask us through the contact page or call (952) 234-9016 before you book.

What we do

Thermal Burnsville Insulation Company installs, tops up and removes insulation in homes and commercial buildings. That includes attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements, along with air sealing, which means closing the gaps around lights, pipes and hatches before insulating. You can read more about who we are on our about page.

The descriptions on this website are general. The work we do at your house is the work listed on your written estimate or agreement. If we find something once the attic or wall is open that changes the job, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, we'll stop and talk with you before doing anything that wasn't agreed on.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done on site and come with no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, so the price can change if hidden conditions turn up, if you ask for more work or if the job is put off long enough that material costs change.

We won't charge for added work without your approval first. Any change to the price or scope will be agreed with you before we do it, and we'll put it in writing.

Prices shown anywhere on this website are general information only and are not a quote for your job.

Scheduling, access and cancellations

We'll agree on a start date with you, and we'll call if weather, material delays or an earlier job running long pushes it back. We're not responsible for delays outside our control, but we'll keep you posted and get to you as soon as we can.

On the day of the job, please give our crew clear access to the work area, including the attic hatch, crawl space entry or basement. Some products need everyone, including kids and pets, to stay out of the house for a while after we install them, and we'll tell you when it's safe to come back. Please follow that instruction, because it's there for your family's health.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, tell us as early as you can by phone or through the contact page. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, we may ask you to cover what we can't return, and we'll tell you that when you book.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit, are stated on your written estimate or agreement. Unless that says otherwise, payment is due when the job is finished.

If a bill goes unpaid, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled, and we may use the remedies Minnesota law allows to collect what's owed.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee on every job. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back and work with you to fix it.

Any product warranties come from the maker of that product, not from us, and follow the maker's own terms. Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from things outside our work, such as roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, changes made later by other contractors or anyone else disturbing the insulation after we leave.

Insulation usually makes a house more comfortable and can lower the power bill, but we can't promise a specific saving or temperature, because those depend on your house, your heating and cooling system and how you use them. Apart from what we promise in writing, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Minnesota law allows, Thermal Burnsville Insulation Company is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or higher energy costs, arising from our work or from use of this website. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Using this website

The information on this site, starting from the home page, is general and meant to help you understand insulation work. It isn't professional advice for your specific house, and we may update it without notice.

Please don't copy or reuse the site's content for commercial purposes without our permission. Links to other websites are there for convenience, and we're not responsible for what those sites say or do.

If we disagree

If you're unhappy with anything, please call us first at (952) 234-9016. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're talking, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. If that doesn't work, either of us may take the matter to a court in Minnesota with the authority to hear it.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes won't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or agreement unless you agree to them.

If you have questions about these terms, reach us through the contact page or call (952) 234-9016.
